Prof. Steinar Killi
Steinar Killi [siv. ing. NTNU] is a civil engineer, an Associate professor AHO – Oslo School of Architecture and a principal researcher in OCEAN. His fields of expertise include material technology; computer aided manufacturing, finite element analyses, rapid prototyping and rapid manufacturing. He’s given lectures and presentations internationally for the last 8 years within these fields. Steinar Killi has been part of several research projects dealing with rapid prototyping and rapid manufacturing, both as a project member and as a project leader. Steinar Killi is currently working on a PhD.


Prof. Dr. Birger Sevaldson
Birger Sevaldson [dipl NCAD MNIL PhD] is a principle researcher in OCEAN and Professor at the Institute of Industrial Design at AHO - Oslo School of Architecture and Design. He is a Studio master for the Digital Design Master part time studio and for the Complexity and Systems studio. He is also a member of the national council for design educations in Norway.
He is a designer working in a broad field of design and architecture. He has been in private practice since 1986. His practice includes design of lighting armatures and boat design. Birger’s teaching and research interests are digital design processes, time-based design and system thinking. He has been lecturing and teaching in Norway, Europe, Asia and USA and has held a visiting professorship at NACD in Oslo and has been a visiting critic at Syracuse University School of Architecture, USA. He holds a doctorate degree in digital creativity. The thesis is investigating the digital practice developed over years through amongst others the co-operation in OCEAN.

Natasha Barrett
Natasha Barrett is a composer. Her output consists of works for instruments and live electronics, sound installations, dance, theatre, and animation projects, but all energy stems from her acousmatic composition. The spatio-musical potential of acousmatic sound features strongly in her work. Since completing studies in England in 1998, which included a masters and doctoral degree in composition, Barrett currently lives in Norway and is active as a freelance composer and performer of acousmatic and live electroacoustic music. Barrett's projects are frequently commissioned from international organisations and her work has received numerous recognitions, most notably : Edvard Prize (2004, Norway), Noroit-Leonce Petitot (Arras, France, 2002 & 1998), Bourges International Electroacoustic Music Awards (France 2001, 1998 & 1995), IV CIMESP 2001, Concours Scrime, (France 2000), International Electroacoustic Creation Competition of Ciberart (Italy 2000), Concours Luigi Russolo (Italy 1995 & 1998), Prix Ars Electronica (Linz, Austria 1998), Edvard Prize, 2004. In 2006 Barrett was awarded the Nordic Council Music Prize.
