OCEAN at RAIA Conference in Sydney

The Royal Australian Institute of Architects will host the CV08 RAIA National Conference entitled Critical Visions:
Form, Representation and the Culture of Globalisation from Thursday 10 April to Saturday 12 April in Sydney.
Defne Sunguroglu and Michael Hensel will present the work of OCEAN at the conference. In addition the Sydney group of OCEAN will be formally launched.

Performance-oriented Design Lecture at RMIT

Defne Sunguroglu and Michael Hensel will give a lecture at RMIT in Melbourne on Friday 04 April, and a two day seminar on Tuesday 01 and Wednesday 02 April. Both, lecture and the seminar sessions, will focus on performance-oriented design, illustrated by examples of OCEAN's research by design.

AD Versatility and Vicissitude Launch

The new issue of AD entitled 'Versatility and Vicissitude - Performance in Morpho-Ecological Design',
guest-edited by Michael Hensel and Achim Menges, will be launched this Friday, 14 March, at the
Architectural Association in London. The London launch will start at 10-00.
Lecturers include: Michael Weinstock, Defne Sunguroglu, Michael Hensel and Achim Menges.

There will be a second launch symposium at DAM the German Museum of Architecture on
Thursday 08 May at 19-00. Lecturers include: Klaus Bollinger and Manfred Grohmann, Peter Trummer, Michael Hensel and Achim Menges.
